John Adams

I missed the recent (Nov 09) showing of John Adams' newest Opera/ vocal piece at the metropolitan opera but that doesn't mean that we have to miss out on one of the most important classical musicians of the 20th century.

According to the liner notes, Adam's projected aim in to unify the east coast virtuosity with the west coast's minimalism represented by George Crumb.
